Boarding

In many ways, our pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. When we have to board them away from home, we want to make sure that they are well taken care of in a professional, secure facility that has qualified medical supervision delivered by compassionate caregivers.

At Happy Acres Veterinary Clinic, we provide boarding services so that your furry family members have a safe haven to go to when you have to be away from home. Our goal is to keep your pets happy and healthy while they are with us.

Always having your pet’s best welfare in mind, our clinic houses separate accommodations for canine and feline guests to help reduce the stress for your pet. We have both indoor and outdoor kennels for dogs. We do have accommodations for large dogs as well. Our staff at Happy Acres Veterinary Clinic will provide tender loving care and supervised outdoor walks four times a day to keep your pets happy and active. Cats have their own kitty corner furnished with roomy kennels, and they receive individualized attention throughout the day. Beds, blankets, toys and treats may be brought from home if you feel it will make your pet more at ease.

We feed all boarding guests Hills Science Diet, however, pet owners are allowed to bring in a supply of food from home. Our kennel attendants monitor your pet’s eating habits and bowel movements during their stay; should anything appear to be irregular, our veterinarian will be alerted. All dogs and cats should be up to date on their vaccinations and free of parasites in order to board.

Keep in mind that we tend to fill up quickly for the holiday season and popular vacation times, so please make reservations in advance. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about our boarding procedures and policies.

Happy Acres Veterinary Clinic serves the boarding needs of pet parents in Foley and the surrounding communities of Baldwin County.
